![]() I did enjoy the game but I feel the ending was a bit too vague for my tastes. I feel like this is actually a really good summary of how I felt. Imo the devs couldn't think of a twisted ending like in the first game and just came up with a time loop to say "hah bet you didn't see that coming" The theory going around that she recognized him as the thin man seems silly. ![]() There are no hints that lead up to the connection between the thin man or mono. The newer ones felt more like stage pieces. The Janitor was responsible for finding escapees, the chefs preparing the meals, the guests who ate children, and the geisha who ran the whole operation. What I mean is every villain played a part in maintaining the the Maw. The villains here felt like just different scenario ideas and they didn't feel idk as connected as the first game. I agree the Thin Man thing wasn't a great twist. but it does at time doesn't feel connected like the first game. Originally posted by Vesques23:Well I wouldn't say nonsense. Little Nightmares is about 2 children growing up and dooming the world with their actions and mistakes. Six is reborn as well as mono and they kill their past selves. The signal would never let Mono's spirit be free though, and brings his soul back to the tower, turning his spirit into a transmission known as the thin man. The letter underneath his chair and the letter in the Lady's (Six's) area in the dlc could suggest something more between them if they are love letters, but i won't cover that. Mono just can't deal with his past though, and hangs himself. Mono trys to reconnect with Six after having many years to ponder over what happened and Six wants to be friends too. She wears a mask and makes the maw to satisfy her hunger. Six dooms the world to the signal because of the mistake she made, and she can't bear to look at herself. If we assume the loop turns six into the lady, then that puts a ribbon on the franchise. Six isn't a bad person for no good reason, she drops Mono to his fate because she lives in a word where having compassion for people or friendship gets you killed. These people aren't evil, just trying to survive. It explains a lot about the world of Little Nightmares and makes you question who the 'monsters' are.
